Zephi stared for a moment. She had no idea what to make of this. Then, she turned her head and noticed a nice tuft of grass just beyond the stone. She might not know what to make of the tiny creature who talked without a trunk, but she did know she was hungry. She slowly turned and stepped forward.
With that step, Zephi, the last woolly mammoth, crossed the stone tree gate. And woolly mammoths walked the earth no more.
