The bell rang, and Hannah rushed to put away her paper and pencil, wave goodbye to Terra, and head over to the elementary school to pick up her sister, Isabelle. In the flurry of events, she forgot all about the newt.

She forgot about it, that is, until she was walking Isabelle to school the the next morning. When Izzie had first started waving the story she'd written in class under her nose, she'd glanced at it with little attention. Then she noticed the illustration and paid closer attention. The story featured a waving red animal that looked and sounded suspiciously like her newt.
