October Daydreams

"Puppies," Mrs. Carr questioned, "Can anyone tell me when puppies went extinct?"

As a teacher for over ten years, Marianne Carr knew full well that puppies were far from extinct. She knew that her students knew that puppies were far from extinct. However, she wanted to see if anyone was paying attention.  She was pleased to find that at least one student was. A hand shot up in the air.

"Yes, Randy?"

"Harry Potter?" he asked.

Mrs. Carr sighed.  "No, Randy."
